加强工序质量的检查硅溶胶精密铸造工艺的工序多，只要其中某一工序的产品或工作质量不合格，最终就会影响铸件的质量。操作工人常常为了图省事，赶数量，在操作中就会自觉或不自觉地不按操作规程中的规定操作，例如配涂料时不测水玻璃密度，不作流杯黏度试验，不按规定的时间硬化，风干时间不控制等，以致造成壳型精密铸造和铸件的成批报废。
由检验部门向车间派出工序质量检验员，其职责是检查每个工序所用的原材料工艺参数以及操作程序是否合乎工艺操作规程的要求，工序产品（或工作）质量是否达到规定的质量标准。简而言之，一是督促操作工人贯彻执行工艺操作规程。二是检查工序成品质量，这是一种积极“预防”的做法，而不是等废品成堆，从中挑废品的做法，对提高产品质量是有作用的。
