熔模铸件规格精度比较高，一般可达CT4-6（砂模铸造为CT10~13，铝压铸为CT5~7）,自然因为精密铸造技术加工的工艺流程繁杂，危害铸件规格精度的影响因素比较多，比如模料的收拢、熔模的形变、型壳在升温和制冷过程的线量转变、铝合金的缩水率及在凝固过程中铸件的形变等，因此一般熔模铸件尺寸精度尽管比较高，但是其一致性还需提升（选用中、持续高温蜡料的铸件规格一致性要提升许多）。
硅溶胶精密铸造厂家抑制熔模时，选用凹模表面光滑度强的压型板，因而，熔模的表面光滑度还是比较高的。除此之外，型壳由耐热特殊的粘接剂和耐火保温材料配置而成耐火涂料涂放在熔模上而做成，与熔融金属接触的注塑模内表面光滑度高。因此，熔模铸件的表面光滑度比一般铸件高的，一般可达Ra.1.6~3.2μm。
