(1) Material and mechanical properties of precision casting parts: the material process characteristics and physical properties of parts are roughly determined by the type of blanks. For example, the casting blank of pig iron parts; Common round bars of iron castings with simple appearance and no requirements for mechanical properties; For extremely important iron castings, forgings shall be selected in order to obtain better mechanical properties; When the appearance is simple, stainless steel casting shall be used. The materials are complex, and the physical properties are not required. Common aluminum profiles or billets of rare metal parts can be used.

(2) Structure, shape and specification of parts: most of the blanks of large, medium and simple parts adopt stainless steel precision casting process or free forging, while the blanks with complicated structure are mostly forged, the blanks of small and medium-sized parts can adopt die forgings or working pressure, and the blanks of steel parts are mainly used for forgings; If the diameter of the step is not too large, it can be used on the bar stock; If the size of each step varies greatly, forgings shall be used.

(3) Existing production conditions: specific production conditions, such as the actual level and capacity of on-site manufacturing, and the probability of outsourcing, need to be combined when confirming the embryo, otherwise it is not practical.

(4) Flexible application of new technologies and new materials: In order to save materials and electric energy and improve the efficiency of machining and manufacturing, the methods and materials of stainless steel precision castings such as precision casting, precision forging, cold rolling, extrusion processing, powder metallurgy, profiled steel and engineering plastics should be comprehensively considered. In this way, the use of mechanical processing and manufacturing can be greatly reduced, even without production and processing. The economic benefits are very obvious.
