5×5BT阀套水玻璃铸造加工件阀套的4个爪有严格管理，爪的内孔规定生产加工，要确保充足的加工量，露黑皮肤不好。因此，在蜡模和铸造件上都有样版检验爪规格转变。原先工艺为：压蜡然后放入水里冷却40min后取下蜡模。
经水玻璃铸造制造厂检测，4爪在蜡模上整体为向里变形，每一个爪还上下摆，变形没有规律。射蜡工1个小时只有修出7件合乎样版的蜡模。为了解决变形难题，经测算，专业设计了金属材料支撑点圈，双点划线所显示，在阀套蜡模射出后，将金属材料支撑点圈插进，一并放进凉水中冷却40min后取下。在选用金属材料支撑点圈并按照工艺标准校准蜡模后，基本不用修蜡模，提升了修蜡模工作效率。现大批量生产中已按优化后加工工艺实行，获得了显著成绩。
