氧化膜里的残渣主要来自铸造件自身，还有一部分则来自氧化槽液，因而适当降低大型精密铸造件中合金成分含量，就可尽可能减少残渣成分。与此同时，减少槽液中的杂正离子，维持槽液新鲜的也能够提高氧化膜纯净度。
铸造涂料是涂覆于砂模、砂芯表面以前的一种胶体状态物理的飘浮分散体系，它一般是由防火颗粒料、媒介、粒剂、胶凝剂、增粘剂和改性剂等所组成的。在其中防火颗粒料是高精密铸造涂料的前提，依靠粒剂在涂料内飘浮，且被均匀的涂覆于金属型铸工作表面上，电动平板车直到载液蒸发后，胶凝剂使颗粒料干结为高密度镀层，保障了工作中表面。
在精密铸造生产中，这类涂料成为了不可或缺的一部分，而且伴随着金属型铸类型和铸造铝合金类型发展趋势的情形下，其主要用途日益提升。
