在高精密铸造涂料中，即然粉末状耐火保温材料是行为主体，又能在金属材料金属型铸页面上起到作用的主要原材料，所以它占有的比例比较高。除耐火骨料和媒介外，高精密铸造涂料中还带有一些为确保涂料特性所必须的其它的材料。例如，为了保证耐火骨料颗粒物能粘接变成稳固的涂料层，并能够很好地粘附于金属型铸的表面上，要用到适度的胶凝剂。
